I'm offended by every commercial ever made.* |

*Except for the beer commercials with chicks fighting each other in a fountain. ;-)

1. I was just about to post this same damn thread.... |

Except I've never even seen any of the commercials you refer to in your footnote.
ALL commercials suck and are designed to brainwash you into mindless consumerism. DON'T WATCH TV.

Speaking of something "designed to brainwash"...
I can make my own choices, thank you very much.

2. I'm offended by every McDonald commercial ever aired. |
|
If there is the personification of an evil corporate entity, it's gotta be McDonald's. And their commericals pushing their fat laden, unnutritious food served by people not even allowed to unionize...
Obscene and disgusting.

4. Wal-Mart's commericals blow, too |
|
There was a particularly insidious one recently where a young black woman was talking about how her Mom works at Wal-Mart, but she went to college and got an MBA, and to her surprise, now she works at Wal-Mart too!
I'm not sure what we're supposed to go out and buy after we see that commerical, but they really do want us to believe that Wal-mart allows women and minorities to hold management positions. Aww, what a lovely little company.

It's not supposed to sell anything but Wal-Mart.
It's like BASF's "we don't make the things you buy, we make the things you buy better" and DuPont's "the miracles of science" campaigns. Who buys anything from a chemical company if they're not a manufacturer?
