I think I know what's wrong w/ my foot

I think I may have gout. I have a history of kidney stones which are sometimes caused by the same thing that causes gout. The pain is up near my toes (very common w/ gout)

I'm seeing my primary care physician today.

The good news about this is that gout is not treated w/ surgery.

The bad news is that some of the side effects of drug therapy can be nasty--though most of the time people don't suffer from side effects or the side effects are pretty mild.

1. I hate foot problems.

Not that any other body part can't be a real pain but with the tootsies you can't get around as well at all. I hope you can get this resolved.

One of my sibs has gout and it was giving her problems with her feet.
