More thirst-quenching than other beers. Though when I was first served one it had a lemon wedge in it, which puzzled me to say the least!

10. Love it ever since our trip to Germany last summer! |
|
I never drank so much beer on a daily basis in my life -- a couple of days, before noon! :P
We visited the Erdinger Brewery near Munich and they showed us how to pour correctly from a bottle (if the yeast hasn't been filtered out) -- you pour out about two-thirds of the bottle, then swirl the rest to mix the yeast, then pour into the glass. If you don't, it can end up tasting bitter because the rest of the yeast is still in the bottle.
My favorite back in the States is made by Shiner, here in Texas, after I tried several others, including Pyramid.

13. It's so popular, you just order a "Shiner" and they know you mean Boch. |
|
It's still very popular and I like it, too. Though he likes to try others, too, it's also my husband's favorite.

17. I'm a big beer fan, but I never developed a taste for Hefeweizen. |
|
Now, a nice, hoppy pale ale, that's another matter altogether. :9
