there is no way to know with certainty what, if anything, happens when we die.
it's an unknown quantity. to make a comparison between life and death doesn't make sense rationally. we can never know what death entails.
in one way though, you make a positive claim about "life" or "existence" because you prefer it over death.
in which case, what particularly is it about life that would constitute a reason for continuing the project of existence?
