I got up at 6:45 (against my better judgement) to feed the hordes because they wouldn't shut up and I was trying to let the s.o. sleep in. There was a text message from the server on my cell phone informing me that someone had thoughtfully deposited a trojan on my server. Then I saw I had an email request from eBay/PayPal to suspend one of my sites because of page spoofing. I've spent the last hour and a half working with my tech support guys to get the situation under control (it is now), and I'm so wound up I won't be able to get back to sleep anytime soon.
Apparently, it's f*ckhead hackers from Romania. For the other technodweebs out there, beware.
I guess I'll take the trash out to the curb now.
Damn. :grr:

1. One of my friends wired some people in Romania $100 for a guitar... |

...from EBay. It's this whole scam. The Guitar is just a picture. They've never closed the auction. Dumb ass. (It's ok, I called him this to his face.) Those Romanians probably keep saying STUPID AMERICANS. And laughing all the way to the bank. Sorry you got hacked. I'm not saying this was your fault or that you're dumb. I was just relating another experience with those Romanians. Probably the same ones with my friend's Hundred Bucks. Duckie

one of my clients' shopping cart (old and apparently hole-y). Fortunately, the tech guys were on top of it and no damage was done (other than to my nerves when I couldn't SSH into the server), and we're finishing up. It's not the way I wanted to start my day, that's for sure. :eyes:
