i discovered a dirt road along the property boundaries

which i always knew was there, because it was just right there, but i followed it from the road and it allows for a complete bypass of walking down the shoulder of a 4-lane, limited access, divided US Highway.

along the very end of the thing, it becomes a path which is canopied by two 8' cyclone fences that by now are entwined within various vines, smallish trees, and unkempt shrubs.

but through the foliage you can see (in the correct morning light) the sun piercing through the canopy in bright rays which celestially (for the daytime) illuminates thousands upon thousands of SPIDER WEBS!

all different kinds too: the "correct" webs of movies and teevee; spindly, psychotic webs; and a network of connective strands that lace around everywhere.

a gentle gasp of wind was stirring the webs in half-hearted swaying.
