3. No...I make up excuses
"The chair was in my way", "The hall is too narrow", "That tree branch hit me", etc.

4. does 'sorry' count?
I apologize to my car sometimes - like when I fail to avoid a pothole that is deeper than I expected.

:hi:

5.  "Pardonnez-moi" "Je suis desole" -- I'm practicing French in anticipation of our European trip.

I have said it to the side of a car.

Also to an empty cart in the supermarket. I also usually say it when I'm closed in a women's room stall and making a BIG doo-doo -- and they haven't got any air freshener anywhere within reach.

Sometimes I give it a Steve Martin twist if I'm really angry "Well, EXXXCCCUUUUUSSSSEEEE MMMEEEEE."

6. No, but I do say, "Stay" and other things to them.
Sometimes, it must look like I am having a cantankerous, contemptuous conversation with inanimate objects.

7. Occasionally.
Why? Is that strange? I don't want my furniture to hold grudges.

9. Sometimes!
Ususally happens on "klutz" days and I've spent a good share of time apologizing to co-workers for nearly running them over or bumping into them ....I have a tendency to "barge" when I'm in a hurry/under pressure to complete an assignment.

15. I used to but then I got glasses!
@@ Seriously!

I used to say excuse me to cement lamp posts and walk right into full length mirrors.

But that was in 4th grade ... now I don't say excuse me at all. :sarcasm: :P
