How good is your computer? |
|
Right now, I am
-burning a DVD -burning a data CD -bittorrenting a movie -listening to mp3s -browsing the internet -playing Solitaire (and winning!)
all at the same time, all on the same computer.
I have a AMDx64 chip, 1.5gb memory, and WinXPx64. My DVD burner is internal, my CD burner is a USB plug-in unit. I have an Acer 20" widescreen flat screen monitor.
I built my computer myself from parts.

1. Good enough, I need more memory though... |
|
cd burner, floppy drive, Dvd burner(which doesn't work worth a SHIT, damn Sony), a dvd player, two harddrives...on that is 80 gigs, the other 160...my 160 gig has 102 gigs of music...I need another back up soon.
My comp does everything I want it to do....:) (except, the "command the world prompt" still doesn't work well)....

5. I built my own as well |

It does what I ask and rarely complains so I'll take that as good.

It's gotten me though college thus far (I don't require a lot, just the ability to write plenty of long papers--I'm a history major). Hopefully, it'll carry me through next year, my last, and I can get a new one for grad school.

It is a PPC Powerbook. I really wish I had waited for the Intel Macs, but oh well. It still does everything I ask pretty quick like.
