How do I get the water flowing to my sprinkler system?
I had it aired out before the winter, as usual. My backflow has two valves, but isn't there something I need to unscrew as well?

Any advice would be wicked helpful. Thank you. :hi:

1. I spent a few days last week diggin up my dad's yard looking for a problem
and I officially hate sprinkler systems.

Do you run the sprinkler from the regular water source or do you have an independent source for your sprinklers?
He had issues with his water softener system. The salt had led to corrosion in the filter system.

good luck

2. Our system is less than a year old, and we tap into the city water.
We don't have a water softener system or a fertigator... just a sprinkler system.

5. Yes.
We have to blow the water out of the system before winter every year here in CO. Yesterday I went to test the heads to make sure they were in good shape but no water appeared, so I guess I need to reopen the water valve somehow.

6. Hrmmm...
I'm not sure if I'd like to get arrested for sprinkling on my own lawn. Thanks, though. :hi:
