1. My cats are fricking alarm clocks
If they don't have their bowl filled by 8am they'll start jumping all over me, meowing up a storm. Usually this is the weekend when I would like to sleep in but god forbid my cats go without food for an hour

3. You don't run out of catfood in our house.
If we do they start looking at us, with that look. It is frightening. I won't turn my back on them.

4. ...

If I run out before morning, my oldest cat gets up on my chest and starts patting me in the face with her paw. USUALLY, she keeps her claws sheathed.

8. I tell mine "I'm the one with the thumbs and the big brain.
That makes me the decider". They seem skeptical.

9. dang, you're lucky!
I assume your cats let you sleep through the night, since it was noon when you were going to get them food.

My cats would be in my face every five minutes. And they bite and scratch when they think they should be fed.

10. My cats kind of keep the same hours I do
Edited on Fri May-18-07 05:19 PM by Roon
They don't try to wake me up when their food dish is empty, but once I am awake..LOOK OUT!! MEOW!! ROWL!! FEED ME!!!

On edit: when I wake up during the night to go pee, Barney will jump out of bed and have a couple of bites from the bowl. Then he comes back. Freaky cat, how does my having to go pee make you hungry?

13. I keep emergency tuna for just such occasions
With all the recalls, I'm afraid of buying late night cat food at convenience stores.

15. During my daughter's graduation day last year, the cats were being
extremely disruptive. We had so much company coming in and out of the house and so many things to go to, that we neglected to feed them for a ...OMG...half a day. I keep a huge full bowl of dry in the cellar and they were ticked that there were only crumbs left. Had to go out an hour before graduation and buy them food, come home and feed them and just made it in time for graduation. Talk about needy!
