I had myself one of these this weekend-

Yes. That's what it looks like. A maple bar with bacon on top. Available 24 hours a day, from Portland, Oregon's Voodoo Donuts.

Athens gave us democracy.

Kittyhawk gave us the heavier-than-air aircraft.

Now Portland has given us the bacon maple bar.

How is it? More delicious than you can possibly imagine. And you can imagine quite a bit delicious.

Also good- the mango jelly filled "Mango Tango" and the "Memphis Mafia" which has chocolate, banana, and peanut butter glaze. I wanted to try their "Non-existant Fritter" but they were out.

Oh, and if you're looking for lunch and want something completely different- try Taste of Bali over on seventh, between Taylor and Salmon. Go soon, because I don't know how long they'll be in business.
