A couple of money saving tips for you guys.

1. If you are a sprint customer, check to see if your company has an agreement with them for discounts. I'm going to be saving a whopping 21% every month on my bill.

2. Comcast digital voice is great and if you can get the triple play, you will SAVE money. My internet and cable used to run me $101 a month. With all three, phone, internet and DIGITAL cable, I'll be paying $102 a month for two years. That saves me the $100 a month for the Verizon phone.

3. If your house has a masonite type siding, and is fairly new, there is a class action law suit going on which could get you some serious change. My neighbor got $5000 and only had to sign a piece of paper to file the claim. I'm probably looking at getting somewhere close to $8000 and my house doesn't have any visible damage.

Just signed up for it, and I'm getting phone and cable for $40 over what I was paying just for internet- and they doubled the speed of my internet connection! :woohoo:

Getting the installers out was a huge pain in the ass though hopefully that's not the case everywhere.

2. Be careful with #2.

You may not have 911 service, or at least not reliable 911 service.

Also, that phone service will stop working if there is a power outage. Traditional phone lines work during outages because the phone company provides the power over the line from their central offices. In an emergency, traditional phone service may be the only phone service still working.

3. We do have 911 and in all honesty, the digital phone

here couldn't be any worse than Verizon. We lose phone service a lot due to 'construction mistakes'

So, far, I'm really happy with the digital voice. I can even check my voice mail through my computer.

This guy in TN will send his associate out to your house to check. If it indeed is covered in the lawsuit, they will file all the paperwork for you. They take 30% of your award, which sucks, but there are only 12 individuals approved by the court to file and this guy is one of them.
