I wanted to report on a fantastic weekend, for those of you who had sent good juju last week:
Saturday night I performed a big solo in our annual Spring Concert, my first ever, with my choir in front of 500 people. It was a HUGE success and everyone really loved it. Amazingly, I wasn't even nervous, although I was pretty hot from being under the bright lights for so long.
Sunday I rode in an organized century bike ride. It was a Personal Best for me: my longest and fastest ride, ever.
105.02 miles in under 7 hrs and 10 minutes, averaging 14.6 mph, with 6305 ft of climbing! Whew! Damn, today I'm tired, but happy.
Definitely a Power Weekend. :thumbsup: Thanks, again, for all your good wishes! :hi: Time for a nap...
