Anybody watch that trainwreck called The View today?
Rosie has the day off but, from what I understand on other boards, Kathy Griffin was on and made near constant jabs at Elisabeth and at Barbara Walters about yesterday's fight.

Walters might never let her back on the show again but it sounds like she has some decent material for her stand-up act for a change.

1. for a change?
I love her Barbra Streisand comments . . . and her Anna Nicole Smith stories . . . and her past comments on The View

5. For a while she was running the same things.
She did revamp for a bit then...

I don't know-she can be iffy at times on her material. But you know she will review this over and over again-especially since she was threatened w/ never being allowed back on the show.

Oh, and supposedly she made a comment about how Jesus loves all babies and rolled her eyes at EH.

2. i saw her in December and she had all new material and she really loves
her audience, her show was almost 2 hours. When her new Bravo special comes on it will most likely be the new stuff i saw her do in December.

6. I'm glad to hear that.
When she's on she golden but she does have some off moments.

When she's off she'll drag out things I didn't care for the first time.

I so prefer her when she's fearless and has a nasty bite, instead of when she occasionally feels like she has to tame it down for a wider audience.

I did want to see how they handled it, good for Kathy for jabbing at whiney fake titty baby elisabeth.

Elisabeth by ignoring her and bestowing huge hugs on everyone else yesterday. :hi:

9. On Survivor Sucks they are saying that
Rosie went into the audience yesterday after the "discussion" and spoke to the fans while Elisabeth went backstage to the Green Room.

Something must have happened in that Green Room for Alicia Silverstone to ignore her.

14. Damn it, I missed that.
Okay, the word I have heard is that elisabeth has been offered a show at Faux and has been in negotiations with them, long before this other began with Rosie. She has been ratcheting it up to make herself look "fauxlike" and her refusal to defend her friend, Rosie, (with friends like lizzie, who needs enemies) was because she doesn't want to hurt her shot with Faux. Rosie knows about the negotiations and that is part of why she is so hurt.

Lizzie, it's like if you were a receiver and you let the defender know your play route, Hasslemouth is a phony and I hope the best for her, I hope her dreams come true and she get's stuck with Faux and vice-a-versa, they deserve each other and I won't have to see her cause I don't watch phony, hate news.

:hi:

I'd never have to see her again, the stupid Colleen-wannabe.

(Yep, I watched her on Survivor. I far preferred Colleen on Season 1.)

24. It would be the best thing in the world to happen
For the sane members of society that can't stand Faux, she would be gone from sight, no longer allowed to whine the rightie whine of misinformation in public (at lease the public I pay attention to.) Or maybe she could go on the lecture circuit explaining to football players how not to tip off the enemy when getting ready to throw a pass. :eyes:

She isn't a football player trained to know football play books.

It was not only dumb, it was friggin pathetic. Does she not have an original thought?

Sorry, it was remiss of me not to thank you earlier. I love sites like that. If only I were doing graduate work, I'd study sites like that to do my thesis on the unique societies that have evolved with the popularity and accessibility of the internet.

thank you again

11. She's one of the cohosts of The View
she's married to a football player, she's a bushbot and she's an idiot.

Check out the political videos forum here-there are a few videos there.

And here ya go. The big one that some are claiming has Rosie deciding not to finish her last few weeks on the show.

15. She's married to a seat-warmer
There are 2 Hassleback QBs in the League (they're brothers). She's married to the one that warms the bench, not Matt - the one that plays and is actually a really good QB.

I can't name a benchwarmer for a team that I don't follow closely.

They seem to think they are the be-all and the end-all, considering she was on a reality show and he warms benches.

Barbra stated today something along the lines of "Do you ever want to host this show again", and supposedly it wasn't in a joking manner.

Walters didn't want any mention of the fight and Kathy kept bringing it up.

25. Kathy Griffin is a pretty hot commodity now.
She's playing larger venues, and almost always is sold out.

Baba Wawa knows this, and so Kathy will be back on the show, as she draws in viewers who might not otherwise watch. Kathy pokes fun at everyone, including herself, so she's not vicious about it.

If you get the chance to go to one of her shows, YOU MUST GO! Your sides will ache from laughing.

I don't know how much longer she'll be able to sell herself as a D-Lister, as she's doing pretty well.

32. In the past couple of years
she's been in transformation mode. She's finally learned not to care what people think and to not aim her comedy to the general public.

When she makes her shows for a specific crowd she's spot-on hilarious. When she tries to cross into more mainstream she loses her bite and is just another face in the crowd.
