1. 70 degrees and sunny.
Dude, it's LA. It's ALWAYS 70 degrees and sunny (well, most of the time). :7

Slight breeze, no humidity to speak of....climate control supplied by God. Oh, yes.

9. Au contraire.
You wanna snowboard today, or go surfing? Oh, you wanna do both? In one day? Yeah, we can do that in LA. :P

Come. To. Hollywood.

You'll never leave.

So, shall I go on a late afternoon hike in the canyon two blocks west of my front door, or go see whatever's playing at Grauman's Chinese, two blocks east of my front door? I love where I live.

5. I seriously envy you...
It is nasty out here...I can barely see the city, which on a clear day is completely visible from our porch. Ewwww...

:hi:

11. Oh I remember that soup.
When you can't see the city from the South Shore, that's crappy air.

It's actually quite humid here for us but it's baby cakes compared to Boston humid. I hope there's a thunderstorm in your near future, and plenty of frosty beer.

16. It's an " I don't even want to...
see my electric bill next month" kind of day! We have both window rattlers blasting today! ugh! At least the big on is new as of two days ago, and the one upstairs is new as of last year, so they are more energy efficient, if that is possible?? I'd hug you, but it's too damned hot!! :hi:

18. I'm very glad that our electric is included! But,
we just put the AC on, it's kinda working, not as well as last year. Need to call maintenance....booooo. But, it is better than nothing, and tomorrow, we're getting a standing fan to circulate the air. Certain rooms are naturally cooler than others, so we need to take advantage of that.

hi you! :hi:

:loveya:

24. I have ceiling fans in
most of my rooms, so that helps to circulate the air. Yes a fan is needed in this weather even with a/c to help push it around! :loveya: too! :hi: to Sniffa!

We have no A/C, and the idiot who repainted the house for our landlady painted half of the windows shut.

23. Thanks, bibaby
I'm hoping that when Mr. Laurel gets home from work, he'll be able to get some of them open. The other part of the problem is that the interior windows are decades old and have the old rope pulls; thus, they stick like you wouldn't believe even without the paint.

I'm in Florida and it cools to 80-ish fairly fast after the sun goes down.

We tend to have about the same weather. We finally have a place that has cross-ventilation, so any breeze we get sweeps through the condo.

We took some pics of the cats dealing with it tonight. Once I figure how to post the pics with our new camera, we can all laugh cause they are quite humorous.

Lots of shots of them on their backs showing their va-jay-jay.

27. Don't know...been cranking up the AC all day
my accuweather plugin says it's 81 at 10:00 so I'm assuming it's still muggy as hell around these parts. It was over 90 this evening...it's way too early in the year to deal with this July-type weather
