Moving to a higher altitude in a couple of months...
Edited on Mon May-28-07 05:29 PM by Fountain79
Is there any way I can prepare myself? Exercise etc?

I'm going from about 700 ft above sea level to 7000 ft above sea level.

1. How much higher?
Remember, you'll get dizzy and feel sickish if it's too much higher, and you'll get drunk faster.

5. give yourself a couple days/weeks to get used to it
not that high, baking will be different, if you are out of shape it will seem a little "thin" on exertion. Stay hydrated.

6. drink lots of water
and avoid alcohol while you get acclimated.

and, when you get there, don't forget the sunscreen if your going to be outside for any length of time, even if it's cloudy out.
