14. It's okay. I had that effect on teachers. I was a class clown. Once in the
sixth grade I was cutting up, and a substitute teacher slapped me in the face with a handful if wooden rulers, then kept me after school and I had to walk home.

My fifth grade teacher. Wonderful man, a Holocaust survior with a fantastic sense of humor and love for children.

He was my roll model for my own teaching (I teach fifth grade too), and his example hasn't failed me yet.

On edit: Oops, not unfortunate.

Mrs. Clark was unfortunate. She used to grind pencil points into our heads when we were bad. Second grade.

24. Mrs. Klutz
I loved her very dearly. She was my 4th grade teacher. When the 5th grade teacher mistakenly accused me of damaging a school desk, Mrs. Klutz defended me, saying "There is no way she would do such a thing. She's too sweet." It felt good to have a teacher stick up for me because the 5th grade teacher was a notorious child hater. :)

25. I don't remember their last name
but they were 2 old maid sister teachers who were always referred to as Squeaky and Scarface. I think they were older than the school itself as they had taught my mother and the school had burned down when she was in 10th grade.

Then I had them and both my younger sisters. For all I know, they're still there.

"Master Bates"

In 4th grade, I was taught by Miss Clara C. Clem. She was tall and had yellow hair and did NOT like me very much.

Jr. high there was Mrs. Aginiga, cool b/c her name was an anagram. Not unfortunate, just memorable.

Older than dirt, but arguably the best grammar teacher in the world. Sadly, I was a poor student and was always in her gun sights.

"You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink". I heard her say this a million times in her acerbic southern accent, and it still reverberates in my head.

53. Morris Boobert. And he was totally hot, too. Just an unfortunate name.
He was a music prof when I was in my undergrad program. He actually introduced himself, then said he was going to turn around and busy himself so we could all giggle and get it out of the way. So, he had a sense of humor about his name.

Did I mention how completely hot he was? All us ladies loved it when he came by and assisted us in our piano technique. He was innocent, but we loved being that close to such a hunk!
