1. Bullshit. Everybody knows there's no forests in Mass.
Just pavement and buildings painted green.

:P

6. trick
have your camera - if it can - under-expose a full stop. it'll prevent blown out sky, and when you lighten it back up, the colors will come alive

7. Thanks
I always overexpose everything...but I just have one of those auto-adjust-everything cameras, so I'm not sure what setting I could change. If I ever get a real camera again, though, I'll try and remember the tip! :hi:

I used to work in a small town, Shirley, but would have to, on occasion, travel to different other facilities for training. I remember going to training and having someone introduce us folks from Shirley as being from "the western part of the state...."

16. no, just looked up kudzu, it looks nothing like what I saw there
it's grass, and just very thick foliage. there's a golf course on the other side of that growth on the left, and I suspect they let it go nuts for both privacy and to prevent golf balls from bouncing across the road

Damn!

I think that's right near my brother's house in F'ham.

I saw some really good airfares, too...Now I'm homesick *and* scheming!

I think that's north of the Pike.

Dang, thanks for the view. I've been missing New England something awful lately! (And my brother, too!)

23. Argh. My term of service isn't up 'til the end of July.
And August...yeek. It can get pretty sticky out there.

Maybe a fall trip...Until then, though, I'll be positively spitting with envy!
