Back from our trip to Elkins! Pics inside (dialup warning!)

So today we attended a Money Conference seminar being taught by a brilliant financial planner named Dee Lee. The event was held inside of a historic and gorgeous mansion on the grounds of Davis & Elkins College, named Halliehurst.

I hope that you basked in the glory that is Elkins and D&E! Have you been to the Icehouse yet? :toast:

If you have time and want to get outdoors you should check out some cool places in the Monongahela National Forest: Bickle Knob has a really nice fire tower you can climb and watch the sunset and Stuart Park is a great day use park along the Shavers Fork of the Cheat.

And speaking of the Cheat, if you're looking for a good meal, check out the Cheat River Inn. Its kinda pricey, but the food is good and you can get a table overlooking the river.

Enjoy Elkins. Its a great place.
