How was your day?
I just got to spend 2.5 hours with *that* girl... Of course, we were joined by a mutual friend, but having not seen her for nearly a year, it was great just to be in the room with her. I feel better than I've felt in weeks :woohoo:

In addition, it rained here all afternoon, which is great. How was your day?

1. My dear rockymountaindem!
Well, it sounds like you had a terrific day!

Hope you get to spend more time with *that* girl!

My day was very nice......it was my husband's and my 42nd wedding anniversary...

So, not only did we go out for lunch, but for dinner too!

We tried out a new restaurant near us.....a local Italian place....Their food was wonderful and rich!

Now I'm just sleepy.....

Thanks for asking!

:hi:

2. I woke up...
Checked my e-mail.. Mom had another weird urge to e-mail me as much a possible. 41 fucking times in 3 hours. Keep in mind I live ten miles away from her.

The subjects:

Urgent X6
I need help X2
Alyson told you to stop talking to me X21
I hate your sister X1 (Alyson is my sister)
I give up X4
Urgent X1
So now you hate me too X6

The dilemma. She didn't have any clean socks to wear to work.. She knows I sleep in. All this shit was from 4am to 7am. WTF.. She wanted me to ride my bike 10 fucking miles to drop off clean socks.. This is normal shit for her.

After that I went to look at a few apartments.. Still looking.. Watched my sisters kids from 1pm to 4pm.. Studied for a math Final. Started drinking around 10pm. Now I am dorking around on the computer.

4. Did It Never Occur To Her...
...that in the time she was emailing you, she could have washed out a pair of socks in the sink and dried them in front of a fan within the three hours she spent pestering emailing you???

I feel your pain. My mother has similar, erm, difficulties, though at the moment, not involving socks.

3. Spent 2.5 Hours With The Dentist
Lots of drilling and many, many needles. That was nearly 12 hours ago and my face is still not happy! I'm glad I can get my teeth fixed, though, so all in and all, it was a happy though painful day. Yours sounds a little better, though!

6. That's harsh
Fortunately for me, the worst day I ever had at the dentist was when I had my wisdom teeth removed. That wasn't even so bad. However, I developped some kind of "zit", as the surgeon called it, over one of the holes. That required a little repair. Right before the guy was going to start, he tried to put some blindfold on me. I thought that was wierd, but he said it was "to protect the eyes from debris". When I asked how "debris" was supposed to go from the back of my mouth into my eyes, he didn't have an answer. Then I said, "you just don't want me to freak out when you come at my gums with scalple". I guess that was it, 'cause he just rolled his eyes and got to work, sans blindfold.

Trying to get along with *that* girl, however, is like pulling teeth (har dee har har). She and I have totally different ideas on where we want our, association, you might say, to go.

5. it was pretty good
we had thunderstorms on 3 separate occasions today which is a pretty unusual occurrence. I also met with my academic advisor for the first time. We discussed if I should complete my master's program in 1 or 2 years. I'm still in a state of limbo at this point, I definitely have a contract to be a graduate assistant for 1 year and I have to get in contact with my department to see if I can extend it for a second year. 30 credits and a GA position is a lot to complete in 1 academic year so I'd much rather stretch it out over 2. So I guess it was a pretty important day for me, I'm just hoping I will get an e-mail tomorrow so I know what I'm doing.

7. it started naked
and as I was dressing I read a wonderful declaration of love. The declaration spiraled into a longing for a certain person. I talked to her and she was having a super day. As I ate my bagel I read a wonderful poem that reminded me the wee ity bity things that make the world go round.

The day led into conflict. Not conflict like war, but conflict like will it happen or will it be another endless babbling. Then it happened and I once again was giddy.

My brother had to take my vehicle to recover one of his two vehicles. That was shameless, but I felt good that he had to ask.

As that happened I got distressing news about someone and we handled it to the best of our ability. The results so far are good.

And off I go.. in to town.. where they know me where I buy wine. I was approached by a kind woman who asked for directions but within myself figured she just wanted to talk. The conversation was long and drawn out on directions, but when I left the store, I noticed she had went a completely different way than we had discussed.

wine and beer in hand.. it was on.. I met with my lover.

she has gone to sleep and here I am.

BEST FREAKIN DAY EVAH!!
