3. Well...
I am not really sure of the answer to the excellent question that you pose. Perhaps it may be argued that if a person's conversation has depth and meaning, their mind may not be vacuous at all, but rather, be merely a perception of being so by the listener. On the other hand, if a person's conversation is truly void of any meaningful insights, then yes, what you said in your original post is certainly true. In any case, we must always remember that appearances certainly can be deceiving. For example, perhaps a person merely speaks too much because they are nervous in their present surrounding. Perhaps their rapid fire conversation merely hints at something greater that is below the surface. I generally feel that one should never take things at face value. Perhaps a more relevant question might be "Why do people who seem to talk the most never break up their text with the use of paragraphs"? To me, this is the most annoyingly curious thing of all. I mean to say, how difficult is it, really, to break up text with the use of paragraphs? Not difficult at all. All they have to do is hit the space bar after a logical break in the written thought. I mean...just hit the damn space bar! Is that too much to ask? I think not! End of rant.

11. I wonder why people talk just to hear themselves talk every damned day
but I'm pretty good at blocking it out usually.

I can manage to listen to the key points usually and think about what else i have to get done at the same time.

:eyes:

yes, vacuous minds do ramble the most, maybe it is an echo factor?
