I feel like eating lunch out. Where should I go? |
|
Edited on Thu Jun-14-07 12:23 PM by mycritters2
My assistant is on vacation, so the office is eerily quiet. The beagle is driving me nuts--there's a groundhog in her hole. Long story. I'm going to do sermon work all afternoon. I could use a nice lunch with someone else doin' the cookin' while I peruse my newspaper.
So, DU what kind of restaurant should I choose?
TIA
edit for spelling

6. I don't have a supervisor. I could actually go home and take a nap |
|
and no one would be the wiser. We clergy refer to this as "working at home" ;)

11. Good point. What was I thinking?!! |
|
Umm..no human supervisor. :scared:
I always say it's like farming. There are certain things that must be done by naturally set deadlines. For instance, my sermon needs to be done by 10 am Sunday, or else. But it doesn't have to be written between 9-5 or 8-4. Hospital visiting needs to be done during, well, hospital visiting hours. And I try to be in the office when my assistant is, in case she has any questions about anything.
But yes, other than that, it's just the big eye in the sky. Or, as I like to say, "Jesus is coming. Look busy."

4. Personally I could go for a nice big hamburger |
|
I have some bacon cheddar burgers in the fridge, and I may just have one right now (after grilling it, of course).

5. Mexican/Peruvian chicken |
|
w/fried yucca. Although that might be tough to eat while trying to read the paper.

7. I should've mentioned the veg thing. |
|
But there's a good Mex place within walking distance with a whole veg menu section. Good idea!!

I never would have read it that way before I was corrupted by him. He can make an innuendo out of anything.
