My car wasn't acting right so I drove my daughter's car yesterday |
|
and her brakes were scraping! So being the kind mother I am, I took it today and got new brakes put on it. Did I get a "Gee Thanks Mom...you didn't have to do that?" NOOOO....my child said when she got home from driving it that she like being able to stretch her legs out to stop the car--you know, how it was right before they started scraping? They are wayyy too touchy MOM! Sheesh...kids.

1. I too borrowed my daughter's car and got her oil, transmission fluid, wipers & air filter changed |
|
at the cost of $90 and she just said "oh, gee thanks.". So I went a step further and renewed her registration ($78) and took the car for her emissions test (a big waste of an hour), and got a further "oh gee thanks!".
:eyes: Ungrateful kid.

too funny...I guess she doesn't understand what can happen if your brakes fail. She will thank you someday.

4. Do you wanna borrow my car?? |
|
:P
I hate driving my son's car. It has a major gas fume problem but I just can't afford to have it fixed for him. I'm urging him to get it looked at asap though. I make him park it out front, near the street. It's that bad!! The fumes drift up into my bedroom window, when I have the fan on, if he parks near the back door.
Ugh... We're getting there....
You're a sweet and thoughtful loving Mom!!

5. Tell her there'll be plenty of room to stretch her legs... |
|
...in her coffin, which is where she'll end up eventually if she drives with worn out brakes.
