I don't think it's coming out. We're having our home appraised next week. I think I'm going to have to get the carpet pieced. Mr. Writer is crushed.

Unless someone has a brilliant suggestion? It won't even come out of the wood in the door.

but what's done is done. Apparently he has some super-secret getaway planned for this weekend, so I'd hate to spoil that. ;)

9. I would try Goo Gone

Here is their ink remover.
I've only used the regular stuff, which is very good for getting rid of oily spots on clothes (even if they've been through washing/drying), sticker/label glue, etc.

Good luck!

12. At this point, I think I'm going to just take our remnants out and get it pieced.
Last night I tried using some drycleaning solvent... no go, unfortunately.

But thanks, though!

19. Seriously.
When my landlord was selling our place we had this huge stain on the hardwood floor so we just covered up with a rug when interesed buyers came through. I stood on the rug and told them the house was haunted.

PS... that doggy butt is owned by Pippin the dog, who apparently came by again for another romp in leather dye.
