13. Nothing!
I lucked out in the job department.

My second choice would be a performing musician,
but that would have meant giving up on my family,
and there's no way I would have done that, seeing
as how I lucked out there, too.

What I do sometimes involves a bit of danger (please
don't ask), but the pay is good, and I determine my
own vacations, now that I'm station chief for Europe.

Why change?

Maybe not doing all the backbreaking work anymore, but contracting and organizing and getting the job done, and making the homeowner proud of their little patch of ground.

I used to be addicted to "This Old House", too.

I love old Colonials and Victorians, and it almost physically hurts me to see ones that have fallen into decrepit states.

Either fiction or history/culture or both.
I am out of practice at writing and get discouraged so easily now.
I tell myself that I should be writing stories instead of writing on DU. Perhaps writing on DU is good practice even though my posts are nothing of literary significance.

52. Same
I dispise my job and I have to drive 70 miles to and from there every work day. I hate going there, I hate being there and its slowly killing me but theres nothing I can do about it at the moment cause I need the cash:cry:. When you actually hope that you either get sick or get hurt so you dont have to go in, its not a healthy situation lol.

If I could chose what I wanted to do, I would like to either be a chef (which Im actually working towards) or a professional poker player.
