I just got a call from my sister, my Father is in the hospital with a blood clot in his leg.

He 83 years old and not the best of health so they have him on a machine to thin out his blood.

This is not the kind of phone call one wants to get.

I will be out the hospital tomorrow to visit.

I am hoping for the best.

My father is a tough old guy.

We have become a little closer over the years so I was hoping we would have many more years to be together.

I have been making some telephone calls to family and friends so they can go visit if they wish.

My sister is not doing well, she called me crying so I had to make the calls.

I will need to be the strong one tomorrow.

No one is really ready for this.

15. The news is a little worse today, there is more then one bloot clot.

One is near his heart, my Father will be spending more time in the hospital.

His driving days are over now so he gave me his car, he will be moving to a nursing home.

I will be taking in his dog and cat.

The Dr. is hopeful the clots will be taken care off.

He is taken this well considering what could happen.

I drove home in my new car, also went to pick up his dog and cat at his house.

Life can change so fast.

Life needs to be enjoyed while you can.

I hope when my time comes I am this brave about it.
