Wesley Clark's album choice was Journey's Greatest Hits?
I just caught the tail end of this on the local FOX affiliate. It listed the candidates' musical preferences. And Wes Clark picked...JOURNEY?

I want to say I'd support the General in his run...but JOURNEY?

In the music snob world, that's an unforgivable offense! :D

1. Damn!
Another thing I like about him.

Journey from their early years rocks, no ifs ands or buts.

2. I only heard this peripherally, and I don't know from where, but
I remember hearing about a month or so ago that he was asked who his favorite bands were, and he said the Beatles, the Stones, and the Doors. And they expressed surprise that he mentioned the Doors--too edgy, I don't know?

7. I wonder if it's the part about
Killing your father and raping your mother that floats his boat? Or...
"It's all over for the unknown soldier..."

9. There are two differences (from my point of view)
Edited on Tue Jan-20-04 11:22 PM by eileen_d
1) Toto did the soundtrack to David Lynch's cheesy film adaptation of DUNE (to me this is one of the funniest movies made ever)
2) I actually saw Toto in concert. Oddly enough, it was my first exposure to marijuana as well (secondhand of course! no really!)

12. I liked two Journey songs...
"The Party's Over" which was only released as a live B-side
and "Hopelessly in Love With You". Also liked "Anyway You Want It" because it reminds me of Rodney Daingerfield in "Caddyshack". But then, I'm a Pixies/Breeders fan so what do I know?

Journey sucks disease-ridden chicken turds. It doesn't matter to me what Clark likes, but if I see a Journey thread, I aim to :hurts: in it!
