3. Yeah, but none of these guys have
actually held office! So technically the only Hollywood folks officially involved in politics are Republicans.

8. i think that's because
left-wing voters are more likely to vote on substance rather than style, while right wingers love it when some idiot 'plays' at being a politician. reagan was the epitome of this.

for a liberal hollywood person to get elected, they would have to run on some kind of substantial platform, and most just can't do that honestly, because they devote their lives to their careers, not to public service.

exception: martin sheen. i think he really could win an election...

5. I live in Los Angeles
I can tell you that most Hollywood types are right wing Republicans. Very few are Democrats.

6. Don't forget these names....
Charlton Heston, James Woods, Bo Derek, Ricky Schroeder, and Dennis Miller. (Okay. So Dennis is not really Hollywood but I put him in there anyway out of spite!), All Republicans!

11. I live in L.A. too and disagree
that most are right-wingers. Here are more Democrats that haven't been named:
Ben Affleck
Gweneth Paltrow (she's actually relocating to England to live with her husband, the lead singer in Coldplay because they can't stand * and his policies)
Madona (Wesley Clark supporter)
Rob Reiner
Larry David
Martin Sheen
Alec Baldwin
Jennifer Aniston & Brad Pitt
Wanda Sykes
Jeanine Garrolofo (can't spell her name worth a damn but the comedian who was in The Truth About Cats and Dogs among many other movies that are escaping me right now)
Matt Damien
...and I KNOW there are many more but it's late and along with not being able to spell I'm drawing a blank on many.
