Whats wrong with my Refrigerator?

If I put it down on 7 or 8 it starts to defrost and it I put the control on 9 it turns into a freezer.

Anyone know anything about refrigerators?

Seriously, though, sounds like yer thermostat is shot. Sad to say a repair visit may be in order.

3. I rent so I don't have to pay for it

I keep calling them up to fix it and they keep acting like nothing is wrong.

If I put some snapples or anything in a glass jar it freezes up and busts and if I turn the knob down the damn thing starts to thaw out and water starts running out of the door.
The last time the repair men came up to fix the toilet after they left water was shooting up from the back of it.
I can't speak polish and they can't speak English so communication is out of the question.

6. Speak the language everybody understands.

I don't know where you live but most places have laws protecting renters. If the refrig is included in the rent then stop paying rent until its fixed. Sounds drastic but it certainly makes landlords perk up. Of Course, don't try it until you talk to a city/county/state authority and nothing else works as it tends to make 'em cranky.

7. The worse part is

When you pick a glass bottle up from the refrigerator and it breaks in your hand and you end up getting cut from the glass and it shatters all over your floor. I hate glass and If one of my cats get cut from the glass they are going to have me show up in person with a vet bill.
Its hard when you pull something out of the fridge that you thought that you could eat and it's froze solid. Even my butter and milk is frozen but if I cut it down it will be hot.
