I don't despise but I do find myself baffled and bewildered often enough. I was reading a book on an FBI profiler yesterday, and he said "you can't rehabilitate a mind that has never been 'habilitated' in the first place". That kind of resonated with me. I've learned so much about human nature these past few months, but it's the kind of stuff that I wished never to know. Tres disillusioning.
