I just took a shower and saw 2 spiders on my shower floor trying to swim. I rescued both of them and put it in a dry place...

The itsy bitsy spider crawled up the water spout. Down came the rain and washed the spider out.
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain, so the itsy bitsy spider crawled up the spout again.

spiders, when in water, curl up their legs and can live for a half an hour on the air they pocket....your 8-legged friends should be fine....thank you discovery channel
