Just got back from a rare stop at WalMart.

Is there some geriatric condition that makes nasal breathing difficult for elderly people?

I'm 66, so I'm old.
But I'm not REAL old yet.

I saw several men and women that had to be in their 70s and up, walking around with their mouths hanging open and blank stares on their faces. I thought "Lady, if you could just see yourself in a mirror."

When I get REAL old I'm gonna try to remember to keep my mouth shut unless I'm talking, eating, or drinking.
I don't want to look more imbecilic than I am.

If you want him to hear what you're saying you have to walk over to him and take his chin in your hand and say "Jack, I want you to listen to me."

Drives my brother crazy. They don't let her watch a lot of television because of it.

conditions like COPD could cause mouth breathing in old folks maybe?

11. I actually did think about COPD.

But they usually have the O2 tubes in their noses.
I dunno what it is, but is sure looks dumb.
