Anyone here speak German? |

Edited on Sun Jul-15-07 04:24 PM by wryter2000
I've totally dumbed out on this. Is liebling capitalized when used as direct address. I know it would be "mein Liebling," but is it "I love you, Liebling" or "I love you, liebling"?
I ask because I'm also using Schatzie, and I want to capitalize it all the time, but Liebling feels like it ought to be lower case.
I know...I'm igert, but I'd sure appreciate the help.
TIA

I seem to remember the rule is that all nouns are capitalicised in German, not only proper nouns as in English. However, I cannot decide whether 'liebling' in your phrase is a noun or an adjective...

I had a wonderful time. I will post my pictures as soon as I have uploaded them to photobucket. Currently I am grinding the internets with my stuff. :)

You saved me quite a bit of embarrassment. Here's why I'm asking, btw. I'm just turning the third story in the series. I think I goofed up the other two. Youch. http://www.changelingpress.com/product.php?&upt=book&ubid=525These are all X-rated. Not for the kiddies.
