Audubon's "Shade grown coffee" is the best!!!!!!!!!
http://www.auduboncoffeeclub.com/shop/home.php
I bought some at the health food store the other day and I swear it is the best coffee I ever had. And it is great for the environment so that is how I justify spending $$$$ for coffee. I consider it a donation with benefits.

Just wanted to share in case someone wants to try some.

When you buy our delicious, shade grown coffee, you're protecting tropical, migratory bird habitats from deforestation.

Shade grown coffee beans yield a more complex and flavorful cup than non-shade grown coffees.

100% organic makes for healthier water supply and soils for the people and wildlife living and working in coffee-farming communities.

Our roaster, the Rogers Family Co., runs its Community Aid program - in essence a mini Peace Corps - on their partner farms, paying above-market prices for the coffee beans and spending thousands of dollars on health, nutrition, and educational programs.

Other Great Reasons to Buy Audubon Coffee

* Great prices starting at $8.75/lb for 2 lb. bag.
* New 2 lb., value size bags.
* Free Shipping over $30. (Except to Hawaii and Alaska).
* Fresh roasted and vacuum packed to seal in delicious flavors.
* Buy as you like or join our coffee club and never run out of coffee again!

3. thank you! I have come to love coffee, but feel guilty ...
actually, I feel guilty pretty much for just being human and consuming, but heck, buying this coffee will at least alleviate one issue!

5. That is one of the reasons I feel good when I buy organic. The more
people buy organic the more organic products will prevail. To me it is a win win situation. I especially like buying free range eggs because I hate the thought of chickens living in tiny cages. So every time I spend a little more to buy free range eggs I feel like I am helping them escape from their prisons.

And I really think that if you change your eating habits some buying organic is not as expensive as many think. Especially if you drop a lot of meat in your diet.

I understand that guilt feeling though. I hate it too.

4. here's a great link for FTO coffees....
http://www.sweetmarias.com/

Check their list of available beans. I buy ALL my coffee from these folks, and they've sold me some excellent beans. And the price is great, too.
