The Price is Rightwing
Drew Carey will replace the recently-retired Bob Barker as the new host of "The Price Is Right," the comedian announced in an interview on CBS' "Late Show With David Letterman" airing Monday night.

2. What an awful choice.
I just don't get Drew's appeal. He is not funny at all, imo.

6. I like her.
I would watch her on Price is Right. I think she's funny...annoying at times...but usually funny.

9. I would too.
Hell, I'd watch Sylvia and Yetta on TPIR if they'd just boot Carey before he starts!

They are going to ruin this show.

11. He wasn't even funny on the Drew Carey show
The only reason I ever watched that show when I did was because of the other cast members. Ryan Stiles was great - he was a regular on the original British "Whose Line is it Anyways".

5. That sound you just heard is TPIR flushing itself down the toilet
That fat fucking slob couldn't even do a good job on "Whose Line is it Anyways", which had been a brilliant British comedy show until they decided to bring it over here and let that assclown host it. They should have given it to Rosie O'Donnell, like Bob Barker wanted.

Fuck CBS.

23. Me either
He talks to fast and mumbles his words. I have never been able to watch him without feeling uncomfortable. He's a bad choice regardless of his politics.

20. Seems like a huge demotion for him...
From having two simultaneous prime time network programs to the daily grind of a gameshow that is essentially one long advertisement? (OK, dozens of small advertisements connected by inane games.) I thought his sitcom had its moments, although I was also quite smitten with Kate, but when it became all about Mimi or whatever the clownwoman's name was, especially when she started dating Craig Ferguson's character, forget it.

I bet he'll quit TPIR within a year... unless of course he uses it as a way to score women from the audience. ("Hey baby, how'd you like a new gas grill by Weber?")
