Screw both AM and FM! Internet radio is where it's at. |
|
Of course, I say that as a webcaster, but still....

I can't get reception worth a damn in the building where I work so internet radio is the way to go for me. I listen to NPR, Minnesota Public Radio, Randi Rhodes, Mike Malloy, etc. while doing mindless tasks at work. I think webcasting is one of the best things to come out of the internet!

I'm sitting here in Iowa listening my favorite station, KPFA from Berkeley, California. When I lived in Davis, California I couldn't get KPFA.
Only problem is the timezone difference. When I listen to KPFA, I start staying up later at night...........

...the bandwith police always stop me. :-(
I'm thinking about Sirius (XM is partially owned by Clear Channel), but when I move offices, I might not be close enough to a window to use it at work. Bleh...

I listen to it all the time. Of course I am in Seattle so I don't use the internet streaming very often. John in the Morning's show is awesome.
