$130 to transfer data from a laptop hard drive

Dork Troop from Worst Buy would be cheaper, but I sure as hell wouldn't trust a large business anymore.

The cost of the parts is minimal ($30 after shipping), but the time to set up the materials and do a successful transfer... $130 isn't too much for a biz (small or large) to do. And as the small biz needs to do things right more often in order to survive, it seems they'd be the better choice.

But no.

Pity, but the drive to have low low prices is a 'race to the bottom' in many ways.

(Off topic, have you seen Dell's adverts chumming up to America's SMBs? They can't make a proper product, much less support it. All they're doing is smashing smaller firms that do the same thing and more competently too.)

(Off topic 2, Wal-mart has a new cushy comfy piano music ad about how their prices are helping people during these times of high gas prices... did you know China subsidizes their gas, which is why it costs about $1 less per gallon over there?)
