7. things are excellent

been raining every day or so. MUD!!! It has been so long! We have had over 6 inches so far this monsoon - all falling very nicely, no flooding or damage to the ground, not even any hail yet (hope I didn't speak too soon). Grass is looking FABULOUS.

9. well, it is supposed to happen for a couple of weeks every year

but I have to tell you - it has been rather unfamiliar the last 10 FREAKING years or so.

Several of us in the biz and area realized our kids only know drought. They can't remember a wet year and only a couple of anything close to a "normal" years.

We are approaching one this summer, I think. (knocks on wood)
