My whines for today:

*I got water in my ear when I showered yesterday, and it's still there. It's annoying and irritating and I can't hear normally out of it. I tried everything I could think of (home remedies, over-the-counter stuff, standing on my head, etc.), but it's still there. :( If it doesn't get better by tomorrow, I'm off to the doctor.

*It's time for my period, so I'm crampy and achy. :(

*I have two state deadlines this afternoon and I keep getting interrupted this morning. I'll never finish all this crap. :(

*Our health insurance company (freaking bastards)---the group insurance I get at work---sucks ass. :grr: It's shitty insurance, and I miss the insurance coverage at my old job. :cry: Bastards are denying every claim my husband has turned in because they're "preexisting conditions", which they weren't, ignoring the HIPAA letter we provided to them indicating we'd had coverage continuously. I've got a fight on my hands, and I'm going to win. HIPAA says I will. :)

1. We just moved and I'm still not unpacked.

We have so much BULLSHIT.
My son is still 2 weeks away from going back to college and I'm ready for him to go NOW.
My animals all have fleas this year DESPITE Frontline every 3 weeks and Capstar too. I'm getting chewed.
It's hot as Hell here and muggy as a swamp. Ugh.

I think that about covers it.

and at water in the ear, that sucks pretty much :-(

I've got sun-poisoning on the tops of my feet, they're so swollen I can't wear shoes for a few days, it hurts to walk anyway .. but no pity party for me, I'd rather have this than have to deal with insurance stuff :hug:

16. I can solve one of your problems - water in ear

problem:

Solution:
tilt head sideways, water filled ear up, put a drop or two of rubbing alcohol (vodka would work also) in ear with alcohol containing cotton ball or eyedropper or something. Give it a couple seconds to mix with water, then tilt head the other way; water filled ear down.

on edit: the alcohol lowers the viscosity of the water and it will run out of ear.

My insurance issue is just a minor annoyance - my ins company is taking their sweet time authorizing a treatment for my bad knee.

33. Somebody decided recently that going out the dog door and walking

to the grass is just too much of an imposition so they have been pooping on the lanai for over a week. And whoever is doing this is not making easy to pick up poops. They are loose and melt onto the concrete because it is so damned hot and I have to use a heavy spoon to scrape the stuff off and even then I can't get it all. And sometimes I think one is completely hard and I start to scrape it only to realize that it is not hard and it's even more disgusting. (For anyone who is going to bitch that I have not taken this critter to the vet yet please don't because...........I just haven't. And no one seems sick, apparently they just need more fiber. :D

A possum keeps coming into the kitchen through the dog door at night, (that might be the pooper - I can't tell) and while it was cute at first the thing has gotten big and has a tail with no fur like a rat and I don't know how to keep him out. If my old guy, Duke is awake he chases him out.

And my stomach, while is much better still hurts with a strange annoying feeling and I'm afraid I'm going to get addicted to these pain pills, (Vicodin) and I've already been addicted to "things" and it is not fun stopping.

This morning I found that the system administrators had overwritten a load of system setup data over the weekend when they did a planned database copy, so I had to spend two hours rebuilding a load of stuff which had been kiboshed. :(
