I'm moving to SAN FRANCISCO!
OMG! I'm so happy to be leaving the flat, hot, grubby stankhole of Miami. Goodbye to rightwing Cubans, and the various and sundry folks her who think the world is their trash can.

OK, so I'll actually be living in Walnut Creek, a suburb, but at least I can visit SF from time to time, and feel like a right-winger because I'm a liberal democrat.

Anyone who lives in the Concord/Walnut Creek area, feel free to give me a holler. We will officially be moving on March 17.

The only sad thing is, Florida needs my vote more than California does...

3. Of course, right-wing by Bay area standards...
is 50/50 democrat/republican! Besides, SF is only a hop, skip and a jump away by Bart. ANYWHERE BUT MIAMI!

4. I hear ya
I was born in SF and work in Berkeley for a PEACE lobbyist, if you are not on your rooftop denouncing Bush, you might be called right wing. I have a political hair trigger.

There is a really cool used bookstore in Concord called half price or half off books. They have new books all the time for half off, I love that place.

7. Thanks. I lived in San Diego a few years ago
So I'd be surprised if anything in the Bay area is as right-wing as that, but even San Diego is a paradise compared to Miami. I've had a lifetime's worth of summer in just 3.5 years here. SF is excruciatingly beautiful. I'll spend as much time there as I can get away with. I would have lived in the city, but WC offered the best combination of space, safety, Good schools, and affordability while still being reasonably close to the city.

8. Hope you aren't dissapointed in Walnut Creek
it has its share of booger eaters.

If you want to have a good time in the city then give me a call.

Jeff Garcia is my designated driver.

10. You won't regret it...
I moved from Albany, NY to San Francisco in 1984. I've lived in the Bay Area ever since.... best thing I ever did in my life.

11. Congrats on getting out of Miami!
I'm from florida, but always avoid Miami to whatever extent I can. It was kind of tricky getting to the keys w/o going through Miami, but it can be done!

12. Moved To Silly Cone Valley 6 Years Ago
Haven't regretted it once - especially when I hear my hometown is expecting an ice storm any day.

I'm in the South bay, between San Jose and San Francisco.
