When does this movie take place? My daughter swears it's supposed to be the 80s or 90s but I think it's just ass backwards current-day Idaho.

yeah I forgot about that. Couldn't have really been the 80s with the internet thing although I think it being dial up had my daughter baffled. I'll have to remind her that back when we rode the dinosaurs to school we didn't have internets
