She has gotten over the barfs and has lots of energy, but that darn fever still won't quit.:cry:

I have a feeling I may as well call the week a washout as far as work is concerned, and I probably won't get that promotion I interviewed for on Tuesday since I haven't worked a full day all week.:cry:

3. I can remember having something like that when I was a kid...

only it was some sort of flu, I think. I wanted so much to go outside and play, but my mom wouldn't let me because of the fever. :(

I can't help thinking...Wouldn't your supervisors take family illnesses into consideration when determining who gets a promotion? I hope they do...
