Women must have chocolate, men need sex

Canadian women say there are some days they cannot survive without chocolate, while men say the same thing about sex, a survey found.

A poll of 1,536 Canadian adults, by Leger Marketing for Aero, asked what they would be least willing to give up -- sex, chocolate or alcohol.

Sex was almost five times more important to men than chocolate, and four times more important than alcohol, while women found chocolate and sex equally important at 40 percent each. One in five women wouldn't like to give up alcohol.

Fifty-four percent of Canadian women surveyed said bathing-suit shopping is their least favorite thing to do and 32 percent of the men didn't like bathing suit shopping either.

17. The whole "women and chocolate" thing always surprises me

Maybe I'm just related to and tend to be friends with women who like chocolate less than most women (or don't like it at all in some cases), but several of the women I am closest to have made comments along the lines of, "I've never understood the whole women loving chocolate stereotype" and things along those lines. But then, it seems fairly regularly, I'll see a study or a poll once again stressing women's love of chocolate. I always think it's kind of weird.
