What do you pursue the most heavily in your life?
I go after knowledge, mostly, just facts and facts and facts about everything imaginable, as well as learning actual disciplines such as algebra, history, geography, whatever. I don't feel like I'm anybody without the ability to answer stupid trivia questions, have a witty retort, or just read and learn things all the time.

Next I want confidence, to stand up and walk away when necessary, to kick ass and take names when necessary, to make people slightly in awe of me, to make people think twice before taking me on. Oh, and confidence is useful in becoming anything or anybody, which I also want.

Mostly I just want people to find me intelligent, resourceful, creative, sensible, and open-minded.

6. I hate naps, but maybe that's just because I never really took them.
When I was two I spent my last nap time in the pursuit of ripping the wallpaper off my walls. After that my naps were actually quiet reading times. :D

2. I pursue the truth in everything, and attempt to change myself where I'm not true.
I have found that most people don't like the truth, and fear change, so this is a very unhealthy pursuit.

Rule 2 of trying to change the world: Don't burst their bubble.

5. Yes, truth is preferable to lies, just as independence is preferable to dependence.
And, damn, I wanted to take a saber to those bubbles! :P

7. The bubbles fight back, especially when their tiny, fear-filled egos and investments
are threatened.

Get caught up in that machine and you're fucked. It has always been that way, it will always be that way, until all egos are transcended, and people can agree that working toward greater truth is a good thing, and should supercede the selfishly personal.

I'm really weird that way.

15. The knowlege and skills to be able to do the things I want to do.
And most of what I want to do involves creation. Destruction I can do in the videogames. Creation I'd rather do in the real world. Whether that be creating things inside my head, like stories and entire worlds that can be used in stories, or creating with my hands. That's just what I do. I create. I'm not sure if it's a desire, or a way of life. But that's just me.

31. I think truth
and knowledge second. When I took that 'tibetan personality test' the other day that of the five variables 'pride' was last which didn't surprise me...I am always whittling away at myself, others and everything in sight trying to get to the truth, or a truth. I think it's an aspie thing, in part, we value authenticity over conformity and can be really blunt and unsparing. Good luck to anyone trying to make an aspie feel like an outcast, lol.

32. Currently...
a job in my field (SW) so I might get out of the modern day sweatshop I am trapped in temporarily. They MAKE us work 56 hour weeks, we refuse, we are fired. All for the tidy sum of $7.75 an hour.

When my life is more even-keeled, spirituality and knowledge. Spirituality gives me comfort and knowledge gives me power.
