I've been gone for a week. What have I missed?

Just got back from a fishing vacation. So what happened in the lounge this past week?

Did I miss anything big like a kudzu or an Olive Garden flame war?

for one.

Lots of crying, pissin', moanin' and complainin' (oh wait - that was me).

Larry Craig got busted for trying to have sex in the men's room.

TOhioLiberal's on her way to Texas.

LostinVA and Haruka got their marriage license.

Bibaby started taking her prenatals in preparation.

um - what else?

Plus the usual - some song threads, a little Brittany bashing, a few squabbles here and there.

You know - pretty much same ol' same ol'. . .

2. I've been vacationing in Northern Minnesota

Did some serious fishing on Gull Lake. 25 sunfish. 2 crappies. 62 perch. 7 large mouth bass. 1 northern pike. 1 bullhead. 6 rock bass.

One whole week unplugged from the internet, television, radio, pager, and newspapers. It was heaven.

So you missed the whole "Craig" thing. It's a hoot. Sad, but a hoot, nonetheless. But only because he's a gaybashing hatemongering hypocritical republican, though.

He broke the law and admitted guilt. I am still having a problem figuring out why his resignation is being viewed as a gay issue by the media.

All the gay men I know are in committed long term relationships and do not troll bathrooms for sex. It's too bad Senator Craig's aberrant behavior has been equated with homosexuality.
