Fuckin' Catholic jackass - "Pray the rosary to end abortion", but kids not belted in.
Saw the asshole on the road a few minutes ago while driving.

Old fucking piece of shit car, big self-righteous bumper sticker "Pray the Rosary to end abortion", and two kids (maybe 4 and 6 years old) in the car, neither one buckled in, one in the front seat, and both boppin' around.

Yeah, end abortion, but like a typical right wing piece of shit, fuck 'em once they're born; they're on their own.

4. Isn't it illegal to have kids that young not in car seats?
But yeah- it's an old story. The local self-proclaimed leader of pro-life movement was proven to be a deadbeat dad.

16. Here are the seat belt laws for children in Arkansas.
Arkansas Child Passenger Protection Law

A child must ride restrained in an appropriate child safety seat until six (6) years old or until weighing sixty (60) lbs. Use your child’s age and weight to determine whether your child still needs to ride in a harness type child safety seat or a booster seat.

Children 6-15 years of age must wear a seat belt in all seating positions.

This is a primary law, meaning that a driver can be stopped and issued a ticket for not having a child in an appropriate child safety seat or seat belt. The minimum fine is $25 per child. The maximum fine is $100 per child.

6. Around here, hospitals give 'em out free, to people in need.
They'd rather do that, than see 'em in the ER.

10. Well, by "old piece of shit" I meant something from the 90s,
standard kind of older grandpa-style car. Not an old beater in the sense of "all he could afford was something barely holding together", but just an ugly old kind of car.

So I don't think it's a problem with not being able to afford car seats. Could be, but probably not.

But even so, if the asshole is self-righteous enough to be anti-abortion - that is, to tell other people that, no matter how poor they are or what their circumstances - they have no legal right to refuse to have a child, then the sonofabitch better pony up and, even if he's poor, buy some fucking car seats.

Or else he should shut his trap.

to have kids in the first place.
But in perceptive maybe when they had them they were well off, maybe IT professionals who suddenly got their jobs outsourced and now work the third shift at Wal-Mart.

17. Ack-sherly....
If they'd just pray the rosary to end abortion, everything would be fine. It's the attempts to legislate that are pissing everybody off.

20. when I was escorting,
the one protester I never particularly minded was the lone woman who stood at the far end of the parking lot with her rosary. Never approached or spoke to anyone, but she made her point. Fair enough.

The twit from GA Tech who kept informing me that he had something for me while showing me his empty pistol clip was, I suspect, some species of Baptist.

28. The typical sort, I think
At least around here I've only twice seen anti-abortion stickers of the catholic persuasion (either the rosary one or the mother theresa quote about true poverty blah blah) on a vehicle big enough for a decent sized crop of kids, and even those two were only minivans. If I ever see one on one of those bigass mormon mover vans (the 10 or 15 seaters) at least I'll know that person put their reproductive tract where their mouth is, but I'm not holding my breath.

I wonder if she confesses to using birth control? My sister is principal of a Catholic grade school in Chicago and she knows that some of the mothers there do confess to that.

30. Oh, I can top that.
The anti's who used to harass women outside the New Orleans clinic where I cut my teeth in clinic defense used to let their kids play in the street right behind them! Yes, the street!

Remember, "Life begins at conception and ends at birth". :eyes:

(but with the caveat that no, we're not gonna use our tax money to provide any kind of healthcare for the woman while she's carrying that precious embryo/fetus, but we will make it impossible for her to not carry it to term)
