39. Well as we all know, SouthPaw is demented....that's a cutie!

I had hamsters and a guinea pig years ago....I remember every time I rummaged through the vegetable keeper in the fridge, and had a handful of lettuce I would hear a loud "SQUEAL..SQUEAL"!!!from the guinea pigs cage. They LOVE lettuce and just about anything you keep on hand in the vegetable keeper.

We had a good time with that thing.


edited to add: their life-span ( much like hamsters ) are relatively short, so be sure to make the most of your time with them...I wish I did.

The dude is helping us by eating all our loose fruit on the ground; he is particularly fond of figs. It is a great help because we are ground zero for a Medfly infestation/quarantine in Northern California and we have to double bag all spoiled fruits and toss in garbage. Recycle bins and compost are out for fruit until the infestation is under control. I think his Ants and Uncles died of lead poisoning, at least I believe they were his Aunts and Uncles.
