How do 30 day prescriptions work in months with 31 days? |
|
I've started taking some medicine that the doc said it was important to take every day. Well, after a couple of months, I'm remembering it every day.
And this last fill, I had to go in the evening before refill otherwise I'd have been out.
So what are the rules with meds much more critical than mine, even, regarding 30 pills over 31 days? Do the pharmacies look at the calendar and give you 31 pills in the appropriate months?
Thanks. Not so much worried about me. Just curious.

2. Pharmacies have given me a 28-day quote |

from the date of the last prescription filled.

3. every 30 days is usually counted |
|
not the month, so the day you fill the prescription changes from month to month.

So they look at the month, in essence, and change it from 17th to 16th if forthcoming month has 31.
Thanks again.

4. You don't go by calendar months - you just get a refill every 30 days. |

6. Got it. Date will shift if coming month had 30 days. |
