PINELLAS COUNTY (Bay News 9) -- A youth minister has been charged with unlawful sexual activity with a minor.

Noel Wood, 28, who is a missions director and youth minister at the Real Life Christian Church of Pinellas, is accused of twice performing a sex act on a 16-year-old boy who belongs to her youth group.

According to Capt. Michael Hayworth of the Pinellas Park Police Department, the mother of the teen became suspicious and confronted Wood, asking if they were having an affair.


"She said, 'No, just oral sex,'" Hayworth said. "She (Wood) admitted to the teen's mother that she had 'crossed the line.'"


Just oral sex? That line never works.

And for the record no I don't think the 16 year old boy is in any way a victum (flame away if you wish) I do think married 28 year old youth ministers ought to know better.

A few of my biggest fears as a mom is (1) somone abusing my child (2) me not finding out or picking up on any clues that my child was being abused in the first place.
