20 some years ago was (and is) one of the champions of the religious right. I always look to see if he is consulting or representing parties in those Ten Commandments cases. He has worked on some very high profile religious liberties cases and he is a prolific author. He's also a fundie wacko nut job.

Edit to add that I've actually kind of lived your nightmare.....
